Sometimes archiving the Lulz is serious business.

Let me remind you all of the other methods you have of keeping in touch with us:

  1. irc.encyclopediadramatica.com/encyclopediadramatica – IRC chat is a fast, useful way of getting up-to-the-moment coordination and information. If you’re an active editor, doing something non-trivial, get on irc fgt. This prevents misunderstandings like the rollback button, the block user button, and the carpet-the-user’s-talkpage-and-inbox-in-goreporn button.
  2. http://list.encyclopediadramatica.com – Mailman mailing list. This list is mainly for stuff directly related to the wiki. OT posting may be tolerated, but if a thread goes over a certain arbitrary threshold (there is actually a formula, but unless you know how much caffeine I’ve had, how long since I’ve gotten laid, and how my relationship with my girlfriend is going, you won’t have the important variables) then everyone who contributed tends to get banned. This has included sysops in the past. Bans to the list tend not to be retracted, ever.
  3. http://encyclopediadramatica.com/TJC – The Thizzlehat Junction Centre. This is largely a discussion page on-wiki. This page will be phased out over time due to archiving issues and because we think that this blog is going to be more suited to that sort of thing.
  4. http://encyclopediadramatica.com/ED:Map – ED Map. This is only really useful if you have a burning need to be the victim of an aggravated sexual assault. If you would like to commit an aggravated sexual assault, the Map is unlikely to be useful. This is due to the fact that 90% of our editors appear to be 16/m/basement and covered in pizza grease. Honestly, meeting people you know from the internet is likely to be a bad idea in general.

Don’t, in general, email Sysops or Bureaucrats with requests. If you have a request, put it to the mailing list (item 2.) Note that all legal complaints and threats must be directed only to legal@encyclopediadramatica.com.
